The ProxyScrape proxy checker lets you verify that your proxies are online and inspect their speed, anonymity level, and country. It works with both our own proxies and proxies from other sources.

Check your proxies

1

Open the proxy checker

Go to the proxy checker.
2

Paste your proxies

Enter your proxies, one per line, in the ip:port format. If your proxies use username and password authentication, use the ip:port:username:password format instead.
3

Select the protocol

Choose the protocol your proxies use — HTTP, SOCKS4, or SOCKS5. If you are unsure, see Are the proxies HTTP(s), Socks4, or Socks5?.
4

Run the check

Start the check. The tool reports whether each proxy is working along with its response time, anonymity level, and country.

Reading the results

  • Status — whether the proxy responded successfully.
  • Response time — how long the proxy took to respond. See How fast are the proxies? for the expected timings per product.
  • Anonymity — the anonymity level detected. See What anonymity level are the proxies?.
  • Country — the country the proxy’s exit IP is located in.
If you authenticate by IP rather than by username and password, make sure the device running the check has an authenticated IP — otherwise the proxies will be reported as not working.
If a proxy shows as offline unexpectedly, work through Why are proxies not working? before contacting support.
