IP authentication is available for our datacenter Premium and Dedicated proxies. It allows you to whitelist your device’s IP address so our proxy network can recognize it. Note that Residential proxies use username and password authentication instead.

Premium proxies

Open the Proxy List

Go to the “Proxy List” section of the dashboard.

Select IP authentication

Click on “Prefer IP authentication instead?”

Add your device IP

Choose “My IP” or manually enter the IP address of the device you will be using with the proxies.

Save

Click “Save.”

Dedicated proxies

Open the IP authentication page

Go to the IP authentication page in your dashboard.

Add your device IP

Using this device: Click the “My IP” button to use your current device’s IP.Using another device: On that device, open https://api.ipify.org/ and copy the displayed IP into the IP address box on your dashboard.

Save

Click “Save” to complete the authentication.
Only IPv4 is supported, not IPv6.
After saving, wait about 10 minutes before using the proxies. This allows your IP to sync across the network. Using the proxies sooner may cause connection failures.
