# Unlimited Residential proxies overview

> What ProxyScrape Unlimited Residential proxies are — a separate residential product with unlimited traffic metered by Mbps throughput.

The Unlimited Residential package is a **separate residential product** that is not metered by data volume. Instead of a bandwidth cap, throughput is measured in **Mbps** and traffic is unlimited. It has its own host, its own scoping keywords, and its own location list, kept fully separate from the Regular Residential product. This page covers the Unlimited Residential product. ## Unlimited, Mbps-metered residential

* Traffic is **unlimited** — usage is measured by **Mbps throughput** rather than a data cap.
* The proxies use port 1080\*\*;
* Unlimited Residential supports **username and password authentication**.
* **Protocols:** HTTP and SOCKS5. The SOCKS5 proxies support **both TCP and UDP** — UDP is an option you enable when buying the product.
