# What is the traffic limit?

> How data traffic and speed limits work on ProxyScrape Premium datacenter proxies.

Your traffic limit on [Premium](https://proxyscrape.com/products/premium) depends on the package you choose. Premium is offered as either an **unlimited** package or a **bandwidth-based** package.

## Data traffic

* **Unlimited packages** — there is no data cap. Fair use applies; see our [terms and conditions](https://proxyscrape.com/terms-and-conditions) for details.
* **Bandwidth-based packages** — your plan includes a fixed amount of data (for example, 250GB). Once that allocation is used up, the proxies stop passing traffic until you top up or renew. You can track your remaining bandwidth in the [dashboard](https://dashboard.proxyscrape.com/v2/services/premium/proxy-list/).

## Speed

**We do not put a limit on your speed (Mbps).** You are free to use the full throughput the proxy network can deliver, and this is what most high-speed use cases benefit from most.

<Warning>
  If your usage is **sustained above 100 Mbps**, we may apply rate limiting to keep the network stable and fair for all users. Short bursts above this are fine — the limit only applies to continuous high-throughput usage.
</Warning>

## Connections

The traffic limit is separate from the connection limit. For how many simultaneous connections you can open, see [What is the connection limit of the proxies?](/proxies/what-is-the-connection-limit-of-the-proxies).
