# How to Generate a Custom Payment Link

Custom payment links allow you to create a payment request for a specific product and amount, with the option to select which payment methods the customer can use.

## Steps to Generate a Payment Link

1. Open the **Generate payment link** form in the admin dashboard.
2. **Product type:** Select the product the customer is purchasing (e.g., Residential).
3. **Price:** Enter the agreed payment amount.
4. **Email:** Enter the customer's email address.
5. **First name and Last name:** Enter the customer's details.
6. **Allowed payment methods:** Select the payment methods the customer can use to complete the purchase.
   * By default, all payment methods are allowed except Stripe.
   * You can select specific payment methods to limit the available payment options.
7. Click **Generate** to create the custom payment link.
8. Share the generated payment link with the customer.

## Important: Manual Order Processing

**Custom payment link orders must be processed manually after payment.**

Once the customer has completed the payment, verify the payment status and process the order manually to ensure the purchased product or service is activated.

Do not assume that the order will be activated automatically after payment.
