# Can I pause my subscription?

> How to pause your subscription and when it resumes.

### Datacenter proxies

We typically do not allow subscription pauses for our datacenter proxies ([Premium](https://proxyscrape.com/products/premium) and [Dedicated](https://proxyscrape.com/products/dedicated-proxies)). However, if you have a valid reason, you may contact our support team to request a review. Please note that approval is not guaranteed. If your request is approved and your subscription is paused, you can contact our support team to reactivate it. Once reactivated, the subscription cannot be paused again, as this is a one-time exception.

### Residential proxies

The [residential proxies](https://proxyscrape.com/products/residential-proxies) do not currently support a pause feature. Subscriptions remain active for the duration of their validity—either until the allocated bandwidth is fully consumed or the subscription period expires, whichever comes first.
